Heat for the vehicle interior and engine.
Water heaters have the advantage that they preheat both the vehicle interior and the engine. They are usually installed in the engine compartment and integrated into the cooling water circuit. The heat is taken from the vehicle's own heat exchanger - the warm air is distributed in fine doses via existing air ducts in the vehicle.
